Xailin HA drops contain sodium hyaluronate - the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the eye and has lubricating properties. It improves the way tears are spread over the eye and entraps water and together with its coating properties, results in lasting lubrication. Xailin HA drops are for alleviating symptoms of moderate to severe dry eye sensations. The highly purified specific fraction of sodium salt of hyaluronic acid in Xailin HA drops is free from animal proteins as it is produced by bacterial fermentation. The drops are preserved using a 'soft' preservative which breaks down on the eye into water and oxygen.
